Inshore and Offshore Captains

The Captain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and performance of his crew, vessel, and tow. At least three years experience on a tugboat as a deckhand and at least one year working under a Mate’s license.

Mates & Deckhands

The Mate is an experienced crewmember onboard the vessel’s Wheelhouse Department. Should the Captain become incapacitated or leave the vessel for any reason, the Mate becomes acting Captain. Several years as a deckhand.
