Inland & Offshore Towing

Crosby Tugs has the equipment and know-how to tow anything, anywhere. Crosby Tugs operations run the gauntlet - from supporting major construction projects, towing barges in domestic liner services, to working with government and commercial entities, always providing the skill and service clients have depended on since 1977.

As leaders in the offshore towing business, Crosby Tugs works closely with its customers to ensure a safe, cost effective, and successful tow. Our highly skilled offshore crews have a long history of meeting challenges with a strong safety record. With one of the largest fleets of high power tugs on the U.S. South Coast, Crosby Tugs responds to emergency calls quickly, safely providing marine equipment to salvage operations.

Crosby Tugs's shoreside dispatch offices are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to dispatch tugs and provide competitive pricing information.

In addition to its tug fleet, Crosby Tugs owns and operates ocean deck barges and dry bulk barges that are used by utilities, commodity companies, manufacturers and shippers to transport bulk and industrial cargoes in both domestic and foreign trades.

In every port in which Crosby Tugs operates, its ship docking is complemented by a range of local towing operations that includes: towage of barges; marine equipment and structures; attending and towing dredges; towing for municipal governments; assistance to construction projects in and around navigable waterways; and local rescue and safety operations.
